Enrolment
Monday karate has a maximum class capacity of 20. Free trial bookings are confirmed while a place is available. After payment, the academy reviews each continuing enrolment and confirms the place on approval.
Participants or their guardians must provide accurate contact, emergency and relevant medical information, and keep it current.
Fees and billing
The first karate trial is free. Continuing karate costs $280 per month. The second child in a family receives a 10% discount, bringing their fee to $252 per month. Card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by the academy website.
Cancellations and refunds
The cancellation notice period, subscription pause rules, missed-class treatment and refund conditions still require final approval before paid enrolment opens.
Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Participation
Karate and fitness activity involve physical exertion and some inherent risk. Students must follow instructor directions, use equipment appropriately and disclose any condition or injury that may affect safe participation. Age-appropriate acknowledgements and emergency medical authorisation will be collected during registration.
Conduct and safety
Students, families and staff are expected to communicate respectfully and support a safe, inclusive learning environment. Bullying, harassment, unsafe behaviour and deliberate damage are not accepted.
Photography and video
Photography and video consent will be requested separately from essential enrolment terms. A parent, guardian or adult participant may opt out in writing.
Privacy and governing law
Personal information will be used to administer classes, payments, safety and necessary communications, as described in the privacy policy. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and applicable Commonwealth law.
